Katy Perry gives special shout-out to Tim Tebow at Super Bowl weekend

Katy Perry, who performed her first U.S. concert since splitting from Russell Brand in Indianapolis on Saturday night, dedicated a song to Tim Tebow at the pre-Super Bowl Concert.

The 27-year-old singer delivered a party-starting nine-song set for guests at the DIRECTV Super Saturday Night, which was hosted by Mark Cuban and Peyton Manning.

The pop star, who seemed to have Super Bowl fever, sported a glittery, football-themed top and high-cut grey spandex shorts.

She kicked off the show at 11:45 p.m. by bursting through a banner emblazoned with her name, just like a hometown gridiron hero.

"Who else is excited for Madonna?" People magazine quoted her as saying.

"That's the only reason that I came!" she said.

She said this referring to the Queen of Pop's Sunday halftime show, whereas Madonna's daughter, Lourdes, was spotted at Perry's concert.

Although she made no references to Brand throughout the set, she did jokingly give a shout out to one special fellow who was on her mind before launching into her single 'Peacock'.

"This one goes out to Tim Tebow," she added. (ANI)

Four days ago marked two decades since Ratko Mladic became the commander of the main staff of the army of Republika Srpska - the VRS. On that day, Mladic began his full participation in a criminal endeavour that was already in progress. On that day, he assumed the mantle of realising through military might the criminal goals of ethnically cleansing much of Bosnia. On that day he commenced his direct involvement in serious international crimes.
