The Vancouver Whitecaps acquired an additional 2021 international slot in a trade with Nashville SC on Thursday.
The Whitecaps also received Nashville's second-round pick (46th overall) in Thursday's 2021 MLS SuperDraft and up to $75,000 in general allocation money.
In exchange, Nashville receives $175,000 in general allocation money and Vancouver's second-round pick (36th).
The Whitecaps now hold 11 international slots through 2021 and currently have eight international players on their roster.
Vancouver has four picks in Thursday's draft: two in the first round (ninth and 23rd) and two in the second (46th and 53rd).
Nashville now has picks in the first (20th), second (36th) and third rounds (73rd and 74th), plus a compensatory pick (86th).
